SWAN was founded in September 2003 to serve the needs of stroke and brain injury survivors. It is now expanded to serve those with other neurological conditions other than stroke. Therapy at SWAN is based on the philosophy that motor function can continue to improve regardless of the age of the individual or how many years have passed since the stroke or injury.
